My son's three wishes

After writing about my three wishes for this year, today J has written three wishes of his own. They made me smile so I wanted to share them with you.

As part of the statutory assessment process, I was given a little booklet for him to fill out called 'Have your say'. It is his chance for explaining anything that he wants people to know. Amongst other things, asks what three things he likes (answers were Lego, computers and food), and three things he doesn't like (he chose swimming, long journeys and fireworks).

Towards the end of the booklet was a section called:

Hope and dreams...If I had three wishes about school...

and J's answers were

1. I could go back
2. I could be with my friends
3. I could stop worrying about it.

Reading these made me happy. That he wants to be back at school and with his class.

Lets keep fingers crossed that J's three wishes come true too this year.
